A good softscrub cleanser is needed for cleaning sinks and tubs. This one is also gentle enough to use on countertops as well as YOUR BODY! Use one of the softer scents such as lavender or rose castile soaps and it makes a great body scrub! It's that gentle, but still strong enough to take care of business. Bonus - it's really easy to make!
Ingredients;
- 3 cups baking soda
- 1/2 cup liquid castile soap - (I use Dr. Bronner's because it is the brand I prefer)
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon glycerin - can be found at your local grocery store or online.
Directions;
In a large mixing bowl add the baking soda and all of the liquid castile soap. Then add the glycerin and hot water and mix well. No reason for this particular order, just how I did it this time.
You will end up with a thick paste somewhere between pancake mix and cake batter. If you prefer a thicker paste, add more baking soda a little at a time and mix well.
Pour into a container with a squeeze top lid, such as the ketchup bottle I used in the photos.
Use for scouring in the bathroom and kitchen. Or your body if you dare LOL! I have!

Good to know this! Thanks for sharing. Also thank you for commenting on my blog critique post. It was such a great experience. Kassi will probably host one again soon. Let me know if you need any tips. Not an expert but still have a few that I learned!!

Always check the sink before you buy your utility sink faucet because not all faucets are compatible with all sinks. Ascertain that you shut off the water source before you start your installation or replacement.
