Here's what you need;
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap
Measuring cup
Pretty jars to put the scrub in (I used 2 small ones that I found at Hobby Lobby then used glad plastic ware for the excess)
Measure out 1 cup sugar, add 1/4 cup Dr. Bronner's to it. Stir really well! Scrape all that sugar off the sides! Use those arm muscles (or lack of for me - I just pushed through). Pour into pretty jars. DONE! Well, maybe add a label and some pretty ribbon. I'd give you a label, but I haven't learned how to do that stuff yet. It's on my list though. Suggestions are always welcome!
I have 2 lovely jars to give away as gifts and one glad plastic ware jar (not pictured) to keep for myself. Less than 5 minutes, and all stuff I had on hand. I love projects like this.
If you're looking for more easy peppermint goodness, check out this post on homemade peppermint foaming hand soap at The Humbled Homemaker. I just happened to see it on Money Saving Mom right after I finished typing up my post about the scrub.
Now.....off to finish addressing my Christmas Cards. Oh joy.
