I am a special ed teacher, but out on medical leave with no idea when I will return. Recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, have the WORST insomnia in the world, and all the craziness that comes with both of those things. T has ADHD and can be difficult or amazing, especially as a teenager. Bear is the generally sweet one who gets picked on by big brother and is just learning how to fight back (joy). Hubby travels a lot for work. He's out of town right now as a matter of fact, which only makes my insomnia worse. He's awesome but rarely around for day-to-day help.
Hubby and I are both horrible pack rats and can never quite seem to get ourselves together. We are having some financial problems because of my medical leave (no disability insurance so no paycheck). But I HAVE to focus on something or I will curl up in my bed and stay there for a loooonnnngggg time. So, a blog about how I am trying to deal with all of these things should help, right? A focus, some accountability, some help/encouragement? But, NOT a pity party, I promise. I want to blog about all of the things I am ACCOMPLISHING, not whine about problems.
Here are my goals for this year and this blog;
- Improve my health - I start a 10 week fitness bootcamp with T's karate Sensei on Monday. Pray for me! I love Sensei, but she scares the crap out of me when she is in fitness mode.
- CLEAR THE CLUTTER - I'll post pics as I tackle an area, which will be embarrassing but hopefully motivating. Seriously, we could go on that Clean House show, not quite at Hoarders level but close. Just wait til you see the garage!!
- ORGANIZE - after clearing the clutter I need to figure out how to keep myself and my family on track.
- Work on my Etsy shop and small business with my friend so we can make some $ doing things we love. Learning to sew is part of this goal.
Work on our finances - hopefully the previous 3 will help with that.
